Check Out Our 2010 – 2011 New Student Businesses:

Splatter Paint Tshirts – Tanner Huffman
Tanner enjoys paint balling so we tried to imagine how we could take his interest in paint ball and turn it into a business.   “Splatter Paint Tshirts” is the name of Tanner’s business.  He produces custom made tshirts with a splatter paint design on them. $8 per shirt.

Makaylan’s Chocolate Covered Pretzels & Strawberries – Makaylan England
Makaylan enjoys cooking.  She decided to base her business on a recipe suggested to her by her mom, chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries.  She found the hardest part of her business was keeping her family from dipping into her profits by sampling her products! $.75 for a bag with 2 pretzels or $1.25 for a bag with 2 strawberries.

T.E.N. Flavors of Deliciousness – Stephanie Trabue, Kirck Elliott, Vanessa Nantz
The original concept was to offer 10 flavors of popsicles/ice cubes.  To simplify the production process and minimize start up costs they decided to start by making only 3 of the 10 flavors.  They chose Monster, Fishing Hole and Mouth on Fire.  Monster was the favorite flavor of students by far.  $1.00 per popsicle.

Natasha’s Pack-N-Play
A babysitting service which includes an assortment of toys for both boys and girls of various ages that Natasha will bring when she babysits.  Natasha recognizes that kids get bored with their own toys and thought it would be fun if each time she babysat for someone she brought her own bag of goodies.  Natasha said, “My idea is that I will pack the toys to your house and we will play.”  $5 per hour for 1 child.
